With help from a grant from Honor The Earth, Tusweca Tiospaye began the construction of permanent shade structures in June 2010. The structures will be used as outdoor classrooms for the Tusweca Tiospaye Lakota Language and Culture Programs and as a place to hold traditional gatherings throughout the year.
